I'm here to transform the way you show up at work, at home, and in the world, by helping you move beyond default patterns so you can step into an empowered, intentional, purpose-driven life.
As a speaker, best-selling author, and yoga teacher trainer with over two decades of experience, I guide others to recognize the moment ego takes the lead—and make a powerful shift toward conscious choice. Whether I’m leading a corporate workshop, facilitating a yoga teacher training, or writing from my favorite papasan chair, I’m here to help people reconnect with their higher self and lead from it.
My Story
Like many people, I spent years chasing what I thought I should be doing—holding myself to impossible standards and trying to “get it right” as a mom, a partner, a teacher, a daughter, and a business owner.
The truth? I was exhausted. And even with all the yoga, I was still living from a place of fear, scarcity, and unexamined expectations.
It wasn’t until I had a profound reckoning with long-buried trauma—through my own yoga and meditation practice—that I truly understood the dance between ego and higher self. The protective habits I’d developed to survive some aspects of childhood were no longer serving me. They were quietly sabotaging my ability to thrive.
That clarity changed everything. I began to live from a more grounded place. Not perfect. Not always peaceful. But honest. Conscious. Whole.

Let's Connect
Whether you're looking for a transformational training, a grounded and inspiring speaker, or simply a place to begin again—I’d be honored to connect.
I'm here to hold space for you to feel comfortable and confident to stretch and move beyond your imagination, on and off you yoga mat.
I wasn’t naturally talented at things as a kid, but I was curious—and I was willing to put in the work to figure things out. That curiosity and perseverance turned out to be a perfect combination for sharing what I learn with others.
The teaching bug bit me as a summer camp counselor, where I taught my campers everything from French braiding to water skiing. I started college as an education major—until I realized I didn’t love English, math, or science enough to double major. So, I pivoted and majored in Art History, which allowed me to study abroad in Europe, and fill my schedule with as many dance classes as possible.
Teaching dance became a side gig for me in college, and after graduation, I moved to Chicago at my professor's encouragement. To my surprise, I ended up dancing professionally with companies in Chicago, Colorado, Utah, and Beijing. Those years were filled with incredible experiences and opportunities, but the most meaningful part was sharing the art of movement with others.
After meeting my first husband in Chicago, we landed in Utah in 2004. There, I created a dance program at a college prep boarding school. It was a turning point for me—I realized I could build something meaningful that had a positive impact. Watching my students from all over the world move with grace, confidence, and comfort in their bodies was deeply rewarding.
In 2004, during my first year at the school, I fell in love with yoga. When the yoga teacher stepped away, the school asked me to step in. Since I was already able to guide movement, it felt like a natural fit. Still, it wasn’t until 2013 that I attended my first yoga teacher training—and little did I know how profoundly it would impact my life, both on and off the mat.
At first, I thought yoga was something you did for 20-60 minutes a few times a week. But that training opened my eyes to yoga as a way of living and being in the world. From then on, I shifted my focus from spending money on international travel to investing in yoga teacher trainings. I wanted to learn everything I could—not just for myself but for the people I served.
After a year teaching dance and yoga at an international school in Beijing, I made my way to Colorado, where I began offering free yoga in the park. That small beginning grew into Container Collective Yoga, which served thousands of community members from 2014 to 2021.
Coming out of the pandemic, I was divorced with a 2.5-year-old son and completely exhausted. I made the decision to sell the yoga building and take the studio online.
Fast forward to today, through a beautiful new marriage and the birth of my second child, I’m living my dream life. Being a mom is my top priority, but I’m grateful to still share yoga through my online video library and pop-up classes. I moonlight as a community yoga teacher for Sunny Isle Yoga, where I also lead yoga teacher trainings.
And now, to share the tools that have supported me through all the ups and downs of life, I’ve written a book!
Thank you for being here—I can’t wait to connect with you!
